For this year's Rietveld Uncut, Rietveld students and departments worked on projects under the supervision of curators Tomas Adolfs and Tarja Szaraniec.
In addition to the Photography and VAV - moving image departments, the following students are taking part individually: Antonia Valentina & Jordi de Vetten, Carl-Johan Paulsen, Chenpan Qi, Clara Inés Arámburo Torres, Danute Liva, Enzy Jhang, Fanja Bouts, Fara Verhoeven, Greta Ona Galiauskaite, Ida Cecilie Meldgaard Fisker, Islam Abdelkader, Jill van Grinsven, Karolina Hyun Wilting, Katarina Holzmann Ekholm & Esther Rzewnicki, Kateryna Lymar, Lucie Dudova, Lujza Kramarova, Maïa Taïeb, Maja Wachowska with: Stella Kummer, Cameron Howie, Karl Götter & Anna Fleuri, Paulina Koeleman, Pieke Pleijers, Sofie Santos, Sojourna Anna Jon-Paul, Sujin Lee, and Yana Khazanovich. Plus, the results of workshops by Rainbow Soulclub, Yara Saïd and Elisa van Joolen.
Rietveld Uncut is an annual exhibition and performance programme by the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. In collaboration with Studium Generale, Uncut builds up to an exhibition in which ‘making and thinking’ come together. Students have developed projects in relation to the theoretical framework of Studium Generale. Uncut is initiated and organized by curators Tarja Szaraniec and Tomas Adolfs.
